HI SATURDAY

CSS - MUSIC IS MY HOT, HOT SEX
Despite their amateur looking video, i found this song very catchy. Put this on the ipod loud, wear those earphone, stop listening to the colleagues, off to do my work, in my own world.

THE WHITEST BOY ALIVE - GOLDEN CAGE

Music of the month - by the colleagues' influence.

CSS

Music of the week: CSS - Let's Make Love and Listen to Death Above

Been playing this on the ipod over and over again these 2 days in the office. Somehow it helps me concentrate, focusing on finishing my ZCG signage package.

It's been extremely hectic lately, with the old and new soho china projects on hand, work trip to PEK, and another new baby in Dubai. All the best!

It's 3am, just got back from work, suffering insomnia.

FEARON HAY

Fearon Hay.

I found myself having hard times selecting images out of their website. Their work is a joy to look at -

The play of materials, the design and detail intelligence, the holistic approach in architecture - it manifests and translates the way of living - effortlessly.

hmm... and not to mention the minimal reliance of designer's chair -

JULIE SOHN

Notice the slim poles, one headless mannequin, lazy slim mirror at either side, and partial division in proportion to the ceiling height -

JEFF KOONS

Very very cool public art installation by Jeff Koons, an artist based in NYC. Inflatable sculpture! Pop, sophisticated, yet monumental.

ps. we ran the MOD night tour yesterday and today for Archifest08.

'are these all this neat all the time?'

'omg look at the pencils. they're all sharpened'

'so neat, amazing!'

we've been getting these comments a lot even before the tour.

and i know i've always been amused by the effort our office takes to unwrap the toilet paper from the plastic packaging, and stack many many of them to fill up the whole shelves.

oh well.. the bosses are anal u know.... and they've trained us well indeed!

no colour post-it pasted on monitors, no food on desks, clean desk policy!

CEDRIC BUCHET

Liked the particular - stylistic way of Cedric's snapshots. Consistence, minimal and personal.
